Happy Father's Day

It's a warm day. We packed our picnic props and felt rain drops immediately when we stepped out of our apartment building. E decided that we should headed for brunch and that the little rain drops would be gone by the time we were finished. This time, he was right! *LOL*

Jo finished all the 4 siomay that we ordered and after that we took a bus to Kissena Park. E and I were busy talking on the bus that we forgot to get off. I was a little upset that we had to walk quite far in warm day like this. But then it was a blessing in disguise because we found this little path with lots of wild flowers. I had fun capturing Jo and E before we secured a picnic spot. Lovely..lovely day!

Governors Island

We went to Governors Island on June 12th. This is our first time and I thought the island is very interesting. There are so many abandoned buildings and apartments that make me feel that I am exploring a ghost town. What's interesting is that a lot of artists are performing and displaying their arts (that sometimes we just don't have a clue what they were.) One section of abandoned apartment building was used to host an Audiopolis performance, which just a compilation of loud audio of bombs, guns, and the sound of war. It gives me creep being there and imagine myself trapped in a war zone.

As usual, I took some snaps :) I would definitely return and next time, I'll definitely rent a bike.

If you wait...

I'd like to use this quote as an inspiration and a motivation to pursue what I want to pursue. For the last few months, I feel a flow of abundant joy in preserving moments. I follow my daughter with my camera that it made her sick to the point she said, "Why do you always have to take pictures?" *lol*

I've been wanting to really pursue this. I know the first few steps that I need to take and I am doing it one at a time. I was not sure if I am doing it properly, but glad to find out on MCP blog post today that it is important to take time to do this properly. So yeah, I am doing it.

My first step would be to really tidy up this blog and divide it into several categories. I am still trying to figure out how to add tabs and all that so hopefully I do really have time (and the brain) to figure it out.

Next step would to post a free photo session ad on craiglist. I am not sure if I can pull this off together, but I am just confident this is the way of doing it.

One baby step after another..but I am sure I'll get there.
