Ms. J was really sick over the weekend. I felt so helpless because there was not much I could do. She had a burning fever and looked so fragile. We had to stay at home during Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, she said that she was feeling a little better and wanted to go outside. So we went to Queens Botanical Garden for some fresh air. I dedicate this rising kite picture to my father. Today is his birthday and he turned 64th. I really miss him and I am wishing him the best on his birthday. He had a stroke almost 9 years ago that left him paralyzed. He is not able to talk and dependent on others to help him with all his needs. It really breaks my heart to see him like this. We headed to Kissena Park (again..) during the long weekend of Memorial Day. We had a mini picnic and Jo was really looking forward to it because she wanted to bring along her new tent. We set up the tent and Jo was happily playing until she spotted two Mr. Flies inside her tent. She panicked, thinking that the flies would bite her (they are flies, Jo ... not bees!
