My little muffin,

Did you really graduate from 3rd grade today? Can we go back to the time when you were just about to start Kindergarten? Please, with cherry on top?

Boy, what can I say? It's been a wonderful year, watching you grow, learning new things, acquiring new skills. The last few weeks, I've had the pleasure watching you performing the dance you had been working on for the last one year, watching you showing off your gymnastic skills (yep, still needs lots of practice there but you did show lots of improvement!) and how proud you were with your medal of accomplishment.

I've noticed that whatever the tasks you have in hand, you always put a lot of hard work and focus to accomplish them. I was surprise (and proud at the same time) the first time I heard you said, "My goal is to do a perfect split." I love the fact that you set goals and work hard to achieve them. You really enjoy the whole process of creating, practicing, perfecting, and showing off the end results. What I find so sweet is that you always keep all these processes to yourself because you like to keep the end results as a surprise.

Today I watched you dancing and singing with your radiant face on the stage during the graduation ceremony. Was I proud? Of course! But what really made my heart leaped was when I heard how your teachers and other parents described you. Chris' dad told Nat's dad how you pushed Chris in his reading skills by encouraging him to read different books. Few months after that, Chris got a reading achievement certificate! I couldn't be more proud of that.

Thank you for all your hard work this year. I know you'll continue to soar.
