Letters to My Daughter, July 2015
21 August 2015
My little sushi,
Apologize for writing this later one month later. I'm certain you remember how busy we were during July. But I'll save that for my next letter. :) And this will be a very short letter.
I've always been open to you about my experience and my feelings. You've seen me during my difficult times. You've seen my vulnerability. You've seen me struggling. I am kinda glad that you witnessed it [although for certain I wasn't glad about experiencing it] and that you were there with me. Not because I wanted you to feel miserable with me, but because I wanted you to learn that when things don't go our way and they try to drag you down, it doesn't mean that you have to go down with them.
I really wish you don't have to go down that road or experience what I've experienced. I only wish the best and the happiest of life for you.
But when things down go your way, please don't give up. Stay strong. Put up a good fight. In the end, things will be OK.
